IT

The IT department has the challenge of supporting IT within an IT Service company. Therefore people have to not only be technically good, helpful, flexible and approachable, but also able to relate to the pressure of personnel working in an operationally busy company, whilst continuing to deliver high standards of service within prescribed deadlines. Customer skills are of paramount importance when taking calls from users with diverse requirements together will variable levels of IT literacy.
 
The roles range across the spectrum of IT functions from Desk Side Support on Microsoft applications to Systems Architects, Oracle Database Administrators and IP Telephony.
 
The department delivers the full life cycle of support activities from design, commission and support to tech refresh and redeployment. There are opportunities to progress, not just within the department, but also into the Managed Services and Professional Services arenas.
