Engineering
Within the Field Operations environment we deliver a service to Partners and their Customers that is more comprehensive than the traditional break/fix model.
Our business is field and/or site-based supporting desktop/desk side, Servers through to Mid-Range & High End as well as Network Environments. Ideally the individual should have a broad range of hardware and software skills, be self motivated with good customer skills.
The nature of the market has meant that the service required by our Partners has become more demanding over recent years, and Engineers are expected to have a flexible and positive outlook. We deliver a 24x7 service in addition to project work which is also frequently out of normal business working hours, it is therefore important that Engineers contribute to these activities.
Worldwide events this decade have increased the need for security clearance and Engineers are encouraged to submit an application in order to comply with our customer demand.
In general, training is conducted in house in small groups to ensure that Engineers have the opportunity to maximise ‘hands on’ experience, but in certain circumstances Engineers also attend external courses where required, particularly where manufacturer accreditation is a requirement.
