Managed Services
The Managed Services team supports a number of partners (some 24/7) with services ranging from a fully managed infrastructure service for 10,000 users in over 600 locations in England and Wales, to a technical service desk acting as the point of technical excellence for Wintel and Unix support.
As well as the range of technical skills the team requires various technical accreditations, which include Microsoft MCP to MCSE, Sun Solaris Sys Admin 2 and Cisco CCNA Voice as well as various VERITAS and Sun high end product accreditations. In addition to the 70 plus service desk staff, there is also a highly skilled third line team who provide design, implementation, remote monitoring and management of the supported infrastructures. The team is also supported by non technical administrative staff, Partner Services Managers and a dedicated change team. Across the team there are roles covering all aspects of the ITIL framework. As much of the team’s work is Government related, applicants may be required to undertake security vetting.
